For over fifty years, the Friends of Emmet O'Neal Library have supported the library through their annual book sale. In 2019, the Friends donated $28,000 to the library, which is used to support the library's Teen and Adult programs (click here to see Teen programs and click here to see Adult programs). These enrichment programs make our library a more exciting and fun place to visit. Throughout the year, the Friends volunteers manage book donations and plan and publicize the annual book sale.
Friends to not have to be library donors, but we always appreciate and encourage financial support.
Friends accept book donations throughout the year in preparation for the annual book sale.
Simply drop off appropriate books at the back door of the library and ask for a receipt. Donations are tax deductible.
Our biggest need is for regular volunteers to help manage book donations throughout the year in anticipation of the annual Book Sale. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please fill out the form below and our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you shortly.
