Chess Club

Ages 7 to adult.
No registration required.
Coach Balagee Govindan will be available at each meeting to teach and answer any questions. Chess sets are proved by the Friends of the Emmet O'Neal Library. Chess Club is a fun, educational experience for library patrons of all ages.

Stories, songs, finger plays and activities create a fun sharing experience for adults and their children.

Interactive, drop-off literacy program filled with laughter, noise, stories, games, snacks and weekly crafts.

Storytime Guidelines
- Arrive early! Storytime begins right on time, and you don't want to miss the fun!
- Visit the restroom before storytime begins.
- Please take crying infants or disruptive children out of the Storytelling Room until they are ready to enjoy the storytime again.
- Listen and enjoy! Parents and children should be as quiet as possible while the storyteller is speaking.
- Join in the fun! Parents should sit with their children and join in the fun with the fingerplays, songs and movement activities.
